2026 Mastercard Foundation Scholarship At ASU USA - This is to inform the general public that application is now open for the third phase of Mastercard Foundation scholarship  at Arizona State University (ASU)

Brief description : The Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program (MCFSP) for African students is now open for post-graduate candidates from Rwanda who wants to apply at Arizona State University (ASU),USA for 2026/2027 academic year


  Mastercard Foundation is partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), USA to offer 40 opportunities for graduate study through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP). 


  Scholars are to pursue ASU degrees online with in-person support and wrap around services from Kepler College in Rwanda, blending flexible online learning with personalized guidance and community engagement.

 

Eligibility and criteria:

  

  Candidates who are applying for this scholarship MUST meet up with the following criteria;

1. Candidate Must be an African citizen between the ages of 18 and 33 who is committed to ethical leadership and community engagement.

2. Must Proven leadership, service, and academic

excellence.

3. Must have earned Undergraduate degree by July 2026.

4. Must not have earned or started graduate degree prior to application

5.Candidate Must reside in Rwanda for the program duration.

- A 2-month internship between the first and second year, aligned with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars' fields of study.

    The Mastercard Foundation has partnered with Arizona State University(MSU) USA ,to provide full(100%) tuition scholarships to post-graduate students from Rwanda or living in Rwanda.

The institution will receive §45million in funding from the foundation to support over 185 scholars (100-four year undergraduates and 85 master's degree students) throughout their course of study.


     Students applying must have demonstrated academic talents,economically disadvantaged and have personal commitment towards giving back to their countries .
